FRIEND

Even when we sin, God is there.

Flaunt His love, He will not leave.

Trash His grace, His heart is breaking

Though still there He will grieve.

There is a passion that made Him die.

Even the men that nailed Him there,

He would have nailed Himself or try,

To prove His love, His care!

You know His love. You have felt His tears,

His heart broken for you.

He saw sins punishment, His fears

He bore it all for you!

What did our sins cost Him? You know!

Despised, rejected, then

He would still to Calvary go,

He would rather die than condemn!

Rejecting, they condemned themselves.

They sent themselves to Hell!

“Father, forgive them.” This He prayed,

Loved sinners, cannot you tell?

He died for them! He gave His life

Such love, it cannot end!

Even Judas, betraying Him,

Remember that Christ called Him, “Friend”!

HOW CAN I HELP

Do you recognize the conflict for your soul going on?

Enemy would have you!  He would make you conform!

.

.

To those images portrayed on the television tube!

Saying, “You are not eternal, your thinking is so crude!”

.

.

You die like any other dog, this is it!  So live it!

Wrong!  So wrong!  But how can I know to disprove it?

.

.

Many startling facts we have heard regarding Heaven,

But there are those who gamble life, like, 7 come eleven!

.

.

Do not get around much anymore, describes my condition!

Can hardly walk, gave cars away.  Sad situation!

.

.

No!  Not sad!  Dependant, yes!  Give others the chance

To help!  Drive us around, teach them to dance.

.

.

To yet another tune, self-sacrifice the struggle!

Mournful tune, women wept!  Hopeless this muddle!

.

.

He is dying for them yet they do not seem to know

For their sins and the worlds, He must go!

.

.

Humbling the sight, so painful the death!

Torture for hours, ends gasping for breath!

.

.

“Father, forgive them…” voice quavering in pain!

Forever He had suffered thus, again and again!

.

.

Conflict of the ages, did my sin seem to be

Contemplating His suffering on black Calvary!

.

.

He did it for me on that hill!  Should I weep?

Try to stop me!  Tears flow!  How could I keep?

.

.

Then accepting His sacrifice tears will not cease!

Tears of joy, now!  Rest!  Deep settled peace!

.

.

How can I help but love Him when He loved me so?

TO GOD MY LOVE

GOD in Heaven, GOD in Love,

In Mary’s home on earth,

There experienced the lowliest

Of any humble birth!

.

.

GOD of Heaven, GOD on Earth,

And within my heart,

He created everything

That is from the start.

.

.

Originator, consummate,

All that ever was,

He created, is creating!

He our God in Love!

.

.

Sure, came down, healed the sick,

Gave His life for me!

Everyone who did accept

His claim of victory!

.

.

Over sins dread disease,

Separating all

From the love of God above

Due to Adam’s fall.

Every son and daughter, too,

Who do not heed the call.

.

.

“Come to Me, I will give you rest!”

From the curse of sin!

Heaven is yours just receive!

All may enter in!

.

.

Jesus paid sin’s penalty!

Unthinkable the death!

Far worse than any punishment!

Then with dying breath–

.

.

“Forgive them, Father, they know not…”

For their sin’s I am dying,

Excruciating pain for hours,

Final prayer the crying!

.
