I HAVE SEEN HIM

I have seen Him in His glory,

Without diadem.

Filled the horizon, He came

Down not to condemn.

.

.

Face grew smaller as He came,

Silently so clear!

Clearer still as face to face,

Smiled!  I felt no fear!

.

.

Uncommon, sure, Son of God!

The Face!  Then He smiled!

Jesus!  And His countenance

Seeing me undefiled!

.

.

Determining a passion for children,

Children that He made!

A sheer joy exuding from His

Face, not stiff nor staid!

.

.

Joyful!  Glad!  Near like a child!

Like, want to play a game?

Not like One crucified,

Not like one crucified in shame!

.

.

But then as though recalling

A saddened look compiled

And sorrowing, expressing, despairing,

As though by sin defiled.

.

.

Remembering the sins of all

The world called to bare.

Heavy laden so sorrowful!

Tempted to despair!

.

.

I must!  This!  All the sins of all

This world contained

In this body, heart of mine,

By Father disdained!

.

.

Foreordained as I die!

Most hideous!  Inspired

By doomed enemy of my soul,

Who from the start desired–

.

.

Doom of all and me, His worst

Foe, once Arc Angel

Over all the Angelic Host

Cannot untangle!

DOES GOD LOVE ALL?

Numberless just cannot count that high!

Living creatures on earth and sky!

Yes, in the sea, what have we there,

Full of  life!  Way beyond compare!

.

.

Compared to what?  The stars in heaven!

The sea alone holds limitless!

Uncountable the varieties!

Do not even try, endlessness.

.

.

Crossbreeding can account for much!

Of numberless employment,

Creatures in and above the waters

For our awe and enjoyment!

.

.

Can anyone doubt God’s creative work?

So many just shrug and shirk,

Counting as nonessential the wonder

The panoply above and under.

.

.

Sky, the earth, below and above,

What God has done, does it prove love?

One can only sigh and exclaim,

Praise to The One who will not disdain!

.

.

The commonplace, what just is that?

Head and that brain under that hat.

Expressing some wonder, now and then,

No!  Shout!  Exclaim!  Using that pen!

.

.

For emphasis God did it all!

Even made Satan before his  fall!

Lucifer, then Angel, above all above,

The Angelic Host, God expressed His love!

.

.

Then even entered the sea by dark.

Then filled that hungry angry shark

With hate, Satanic to destroy all.

All that crossed his trail, loved none at all!

.

.

Does God love everyone?  And why?  Pray tell

So many folk are choosing hell?

Can any explain love of God?

A lost soul saved needing love.

.

.

Were you ever there?  Look at you now,

Despised, once rejected, did God allow

A bright shining light to glow within,

Filling with goodness, cleansing from sin!

MY FUTURE

Jesus is all the world to me!

What more could I desire?

The things of earth have grown quickly dim!

Nothing left to inspire!

.

.

His Grace, His love there is nothing more

This side of Heaven’s  shore.

Food?  Why bother to eat anything?

Just worship the One I adore!

.

.

He who created everything

Yes, the never dying soul,

Giving life more abundantly!

All life is in His control!

.

.

Souls that perish, there is no such thing!

Live on eternally!

Man created to never die!

Live on everlastingly!

.

.

Soul is the spirit of life!

Body only will perish!

Real life is found in the Spirit!

This only I will cherish!

.

.

Older I get, more Spirit lives!

Heaven’s Eternity!

Fly with the eternal creatures!

Angelic Host I see!

.

.

An angel’s smile reveals it all!

Happiest people alive!

Positive aiding the souls of men

So glad I am on their side!
