He meets me in the morning when
The eastern skies are gray,
His smile starts spreading over the sky
And backs the gloom away!
.
.
That smile grows wider, soon the east
Is bright and rosy red.
The wind is the ripple of His laugh
At something Gabriel said!
.
.
It is clear to me the birds are glad,
They are echoing His cheer.
Their homes exposed to wind and rain
That song, does it show fear?
.
.
Why should I then be fearful of the
Elements or pain,
The future, past of man or beast,
Of fire, wind, or rain?
.
.
Our Heavenly Father loves us all.
We are His creatures, too.
All nature sings so why do not we
His praise forever! True!
