A command?  Of course!  Gently assuring

Us of His love and care!

Be careful for nothing, anxiety

Can make us forget He is there!

He is near, He cares!  He watches over you,

Is there any word so kind?

“Be anxious in nothing!”  He cares for you

Establishing peace of mind.

“Be careful, anxious, in nothing,” command,

A gentle command, “By prayer

And supplication with thanksgiving…”

Send your requests up there!

With thanksgiving, of course, that means

That you are receiving His gift.

Thanksgiving strong cry of assurance now

Is this not the great lift—

That we need?  Assurance of His love,

Loving care watching over all.

He cares for you!  In fact died for you,

Test Him!  On his name call!

But to finish now, “And the peace of God

That passes understanding

Shall keep your hearts and minds through Jesus.”

Powerful!  He is commanding.

Philippians 4:6-7  “Be careful, anxious, for nothing

but in everything by prayer and supplication with

thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God

and the peace of God, which passeth all understanding,

shall keep you hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Can one ask for anything more?

  1. Have you ever thought about writing an e-book or guest authoring on other sites?

I have a blog based upon on the same subjects you discuss and would love to have you share some stories/information. I know my viewers would value your work. If you are even remotely interested, feel free to shoot me an e-mail.
