STILL TODAY

“God sent me,” know something?

Still challenged when I hear,

Or, “God told me to do this…”

Not that I doubt of fear.

.

.

So typical of God’s people

All who will testify

To the fact of God’s provision,

Perhaps as you and I.

.

.

Or a time in Minnesota

Two miles from any town,

Wife’s family’s funds depleted

No sign of food around.

.

.

God knew and sent a drunk sinner

Through a blinding snow

With food enough to satisfy,

Where did that poor drunk go?

.

.

It is like I have become dependent on

God to supply all needs.

He provides and He satisfies

He still heals and feeds!

.

.

Say what you like about His care

Or provision in everything,

It is enough to cause Thanksgiving

And praise and make one sing:

.

.

“I sing because I am happy!

And I sing because I am free,

For His Eye is on the sparrow

And I know He watches me!”

.

.

My God shall supply all your need according to

His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.  Philippians 4:19
