READ, REV. 4:11 and 22:14

Pass me not most gentle Spirit!

Hear my mournful cry!

While on others you are waiting,

Do not pass me by!

.

.

Saved so long ago, cannot remember,

Drifted so far away.

Service was with the worst of them,

World War II, so far away!

.

.

Sure Jesus wept for sinners like me!

Nailed on to a cross-tree!

Though I accepted so long ago, did

He then forget me?

.

.

Forget?  NO!  With each dying thought

He remembered that day!

So long ago I had accepted,

Before, like, drifting away.

.

.

I was His child, cannot forget that!

Shot at, a rain of lead.

He delivered me, like, thousands of times,

While I wished I was dead!

.

.

Actually tried with crazy stunts

To, like, get myself buried!

So I am ninety-two new, sure, living!

All these years God has carried!

.

.

Think He had a purpose for this sad blob?

Sure, thousands heard God’s Word!

As I preached HIM from coast to coast,

Wielding the Gospel sword!

.

.

Thirty-some years I served and more,

Still serving, not dead yet!

Unworthy this child, then who can attest

To worthy?  Just now connect?

.

.

“Worthy is the Lamb”, none other.

At that judgment-seat.

Jesus alone lays claim to worthy!

Where men and Angels meet!

.

Can I just say what a relief to uncover someone who really knows what theyre talking about on the internet. You undoubtedly know ways to bring an problem to light and make it important. Even more people must read this and know this side of the story. I cant believe youre not a lot more common considering that you definitely have the gift.
